I am Oliver, I graduated English Literature from the University of New York and I hold a master degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
My teaching experiences since 2008 have been very diverse - ranging from teaching in language schools to teaching in universities. I have worked with students of all levels and successfully prepared dozens of students for the TOEFL and the Cambridge exams (from PET to C2).
My vast experience has allowed me to deepen the challenges that Spaniards face when learning English: pronunciation, the order of adjectives and names, confusion with gender and etc.
My classes are dynamic, interactive and personalized according to your ability and your needs.

Soy Oliver, graduado en Literatura Inglesa por la Universidad de Nueva York y titulado en master de TESOL (La Enseñanza de Inglés a Hablantes de Otros Idiomas).
Tengo más de 10 años de experienca enseñado el Inglés, principalmente impartiendo clases en las universidades en distintos países hispanohablantes. He trabajado con estudiantes de todos los niveles, preparando exitosamente a decenas de estudiantes para el TOEFL, los exámenes de Cambridge (de PET a C2) para entrevistas de trabajo y conferencias.
Mi vasta experiencia me ha permitido profundizar en los retos a los que se enfrentan los Españoles al aprender inglés: el orden de los adjetivos, concordancia sujeto - verbo, confusion con el genero y sobre todo la pronunciación.
Te enseñare a producir de manera correcta aquellos sonidos que no existen en el castellano tal como son: /æ/ -back, cat; /i:/ - see, heat; /w/ - would, want, entre otros para que logres una mejor pronunciación y evites que tu inglés sea incomprensible.
Ademas, a través de actividades divertidas y amenas, creadas según tu capacidad y necesidades, transferirás tu conocimiento pasivo de la lengua a activo. Cuando aprendemos un idioma extranjero vamos almacenando un conocimiento pasivo que es mucho más amplio que el conocimiento activo, es decir, entendemos mucho más de lo que somos capaces de hablar.
Todo eso te inculcara confianza de hablar Inglés de manera orgánica y sin miedo.

Aktivno predajem engelski jezik od 2008 i moje nastavno iskustvo varira kako od predavanja Engleskog u školama stranih jezika tako u srednjim školama i na fakultetima. Sarađivao sam sa studentima svih nivoa i uspešno pripremio desetine studenata za TOEFL i Cambridge ispite (od PET do C2).

As aulas com o Oliver foi sem dúvida minha melhor experiência com a língua Inglesa. Um método diferente de aprender inglês, que te faz realmente entender que inglês não é bicho de sete cabeças. Diferente de tantas outras escolas e métodos que já conheci, com ele você não decora, você aprende. Recomendo a todos que queiram aprender/ melhorar o seu Inglês, e sintam algum tipo de dificuldade, a fazer uma aula experimental para atestar o que estou dizendo.Super recomendo!

Avevo bisogno di un professore che non solo mi insegnasse l'inglese, ma che mi invogliasse anche a studiarlo giorno dopo giorno. Tra migliaia di professori ho scelto Oliver. Classes with Oliver have been so worthwhile!! I passed the CAE exam thanks to him and I couldn’t be happier. He is an incredible and efficient teacher who provides a supportive learning environment. Es un profesor estupendo, sabe como educar y que aprendas sin que cueste absolutamente nada. Las horas se pasan enseguida ya que son muy amenas. How can I find a tutor?
You can find a suitable tutor in "Tutors" section. The find tutor button is located in the upper left corner of the page. You can make use of the search filters to refine the search based on your needs, price range and etc.
How do I contact a tutor?
You can simply get in touch with your tutor by sending her/him e-mail or texting her/him on one of the IM (instant messaging) apps listed in her/his profile.
How do I book a lesson?
There are different ways to book your lesson:
- Contact your tutor sending her/him a direct message through one of the instant messaging applications that s/he uses.
- Book a 15 minute free trial lesson to get to know your tutor and tell her/him more about your goals and expectations.
- Book a private lesson with your tutor by selecting the available time slot from tutor's calendar.
How do I pay for my lesson?
When making the reservation for your lesson, you can make a payment using one of the payment methods accepted by your tutor. You can also agree payment method with your tutor via IM or during your free trial lesson.
What if I need to cancel my lesson?
If for any reason, you need to cancel your booked lesson, we highly suggest you letting your tutor know as soon as possible that you're not going to be able to make it to your lesson. Please, remember that tutor's time is our most precious resource and we need to use it wisely. Always try to cancel your lesson at least 24 hours in advance.
If I am not satisfied, am I eligible for a refund?
It solely depends on tutor's service delivery policy. Each tutor is free to determine its own service delivery policy. If you are not sure that the tutor can meet your expectations, we highly recommend you scheduling a trial class and get to know your future tutor better prior to booking a private class.
